The first day of college felt exactly like the title suggests—like walking into the unknown. After spending years in school with familiar classrooms, teachers, and routines, stepping into a completely new environment felt both exciting and slightly overwhelming. That morning started earlier than usual. I kept thinking about how different college might be and what kind of people I would meet.
